HSSC syllabus 2019 & HSSC exam pattern

For almost every HSSC post this is the common HSSC syllabus. HSSC test 2019 mainly contains Reasoning (Numerical Ability), General Knowledge, Haryana GK & Haryana History, English and Hindi Language, Math and Science. HSSC written test syllabus 2019-Commonly HSSC question paper contain 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ). 25% HSSC questions based on Haryana & its History and rest of 75%  Reasoning (Numerical Ability), GK, English and Hindi Language, Math and Science.

For Haryana police written exam MCQ will be given and the difficulty level will be up to 12th standard.

HSSC syllabus Haryana Police Written Test Knowledge Test (KT)

  • Haryana Police Exam Total Marks=80
  • HP Total Questions= 100
  • Total time duration= 90 Minute
  • (Each question marks = 0.80)
  • All the questions will be objective type & multiple choice question (MCQ)
  • General Study, Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Reasoning, current affairs, Numerical ability, General Science, Aptitude, relevant field/ trade etc.
  • Standard of the question will be expected of an educated person having 10+2 pass from HBSE/ BSEH Bhiwani.

Total questions 100 (MCQ)
Total marks are written paper-200 marks (each question 2 marks)
Part (i)- 75% General awareness, reasoning, maths, science, English, Hindi and concerned or relevant subject. 30 questions shall be of the concerned or relevant subject. Remaining question (30 or you can say 50% from 75% questions) from General Awareness, Reasoning, Maths, Science, English and Hindi
Part (ii)- 25% from History, current affairs, literature, Geography, Civics, Environment, Culture etc. of Haryana.
Interview= 25 marks.

  • The general study- Surrounding Countries, The Freedom Struggle, Political, Culture, Constitution, Geography, Governance, Economical Scenario and Constitution of India & State Administration, Five-Year Plan, General issues on Environment, History of India Mainly Haryana .. etc.
  • Agriculture- crop, insects, plant diseases, Irrigation, soil studies, manures, fertilizers, fruit, vegetables, Landscaping, microorganisms, pumps, farm, animals and poultry, Rain, Renewable Energy, Flowers, Production, Land, Horticulture .. etc.
  • Animal Husbandry– meat, fibre, milk, eggs, fish, wool or other products, diseases, breeding, species, Animal Health, Breeding, Feeding, Animal Nutrition, Poultry, Dairy, Livestock farming .. etc.
  • Reasoning– Number and Letter Series, Matching, distinguish patterns, analogies, Calendars, Connectives, similarities, and differences, Clocks, problem-solving, relationship, Cubes, arithmetical computation and other analytical functions, Logical Sequence, Blood Relations, Venn diagrams, relationship concepts… etc.
  • current affairs– National issues, Act, General Science, New amendments,Swatch Bharat, General Knowledge, New Government schemes important National & International news, Newly appointed heads of important offices, Important dates, Current Science, Technology, Sports & Culture,Important places in news,Awards, Indian Current Events, Recently tested missiles, Space phenomenon, development agenda.. etc.
  • Numerical Ability– Ages, Simplification, ratio and proportions, Decimals, trains, pipes and cisterns, Fractions, L.C.M., H.C.F., Percentage, number system, Average, Profit & Loss, time and work, Discount, Simple & Compound Interest, Mensuration, Time & Distance, Tables & Graphs. .. etc.
  • General Science– Earth, how it works, principals, Energy, research, Radiation, techniques and physics, chemistry, Biology, Diet, emission, radioactivity, Nuclear fission, Nuclear fusion, units, Diseases and vaccines, Digestive system, theory, technologies, space etc.
  • Aptitude– solve a problem in different possible ways, your natural talent and sometimes the common sense, it also tests your analytical skills and logical ability… etc.
  • At least 10 questions related to computer basic knowledge.
  • कांस्टेबल – Standard of the question will be expected of an educated person having 10+2 pass from Haryana Board Bhiwani.
  • सब इंस्पेक्टर – Standard of the question will be expected of an educated person having graduation pass from Haryana Board Bhiwani.

  • 2-year experience in relevant subject= 4 marks
  • 3-year  experience in relevant subject= 6 marks
  • 4-year experience in relevant subject= 8 marks
  • 5-year  experience in relevant subject=10 marks
  • 6-year  experience in relevant subject= 12 marks
  • 7-year  experience in relevant subject= 14 marks
  • 8-year experience in relevant subject= 16 marks

Viva-voce= 24 marks (Knowledge of the subject, communication skill, GK, General awareness, and intelligence..)

HSSC Syllabus Art & Crafts Teacher

HSSC written test syllabus – 100 objective type multiple choice questions in the Art & Crafts Teacher Exam Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC)  Examination.

  1. i) 60 questions relating to academic knowledge of the respective subject including skill & Method of teaching ability of the candidate in the subject.
  2. ii) 40 questions relating to general knowledge( GK), General English and Hindi up to 10th /Matric standard. Each question will carry 2 marks.

Qualifying Marks

Minimum qualifying marks in Art & Crafts Teacher Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) written test are:-

  1. a) For Gen Category candidates =50% Marks
  2. b) SC, BC Categories candidates=45% Marks
  3. c) ESM candidates=40% Marks
  4. d) DESM and outstanding sportsperson= As for General, SC, BC Candidates, as the case may be.

Viva-Voce ‘will be of 25 marks’

Selection Criteria-

Three times candidates (816*3) will be called for interview based on the performance in the written test. Merit will be made according to the total marks obtained in written test and Viva-Voce of respective category. HSSC syllabus Detail here

Art and craft question paper

HSSC EXAM Syllabus TGT Physical Education & TGT English
  • Part  (i) 75% weight-age -General awareness, Hindi, English, Science, Maths, Reasoning (means include relevant subject only).
  • Part (ii) 25% weight-age – History, Environment, Civics, Literature, Current affairs, Geography, Culture etc. of Haryana.

Selection criteria –  Total marks=200

  • 160 marks for the written exam.
  • 16 marks for experience (One-year complete teaching experience = 2 marks, maximum= 16 Marks) .
  • 24 marks interview (Knowledge of the subject, G.K., Communication skill, Gen. awareness & intelligence.
  • For the interview, 2 times candidates will be invited to the vacancy i.e. more than 1300 for TGT Physical Education, Near about 700 for TGT English (Mewat Cadre).

TGT HSSC written test syllabus (exam marks criteria and selection merit criteria)

Total marks- 200 marks (Written examination- 160 marks +Experience= 16 marks +Interview/ Viva-voce= 24 Marks)

Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) Selection Process steps:
