HTET exam date 2023: HTET exam date has been declared by the board. HTET is mandatory in Haryana for teacher job. Every year HTET is taken by the State Government body. This year HTET 2023 is going to be held soon. Who loves the teaching profession they have to clear HTET exam to be selected as a Government teacher? In Haryana, there are three types of Teacher eligibility test. Level 1st HTET exam for primary teacher/ JBT/ PRT. The primary teacher teaches a class from 1st to 5th. In Government schools, all the four subject Hindi, English, Mathematics and EVS taught by the JBT teacher. The level 2nd exam is for TGT/ Master means 6th to 8th class but in some Government school (High school) TGT teaches up to 10th class. The level 3rd exam is for PGT / Lecturer teaches up to 12th class.

HTET exam authority is going to announce the HTET 2023 exam date soon. HTET is must in Haryana for applying teacher recruitment. For General category candidates, minimum passing marks are 60% marks (90 marks). For Scheduled Castes and Differently able /Physically Challenged minimum passing marks are 55% (83 Marks). For other State candidates of any category, minimum qualifying marks are 60% (90 Marks).

HTET 2023 exam date latest details, HTET 2023 application form date: HTET held in year 2008, 2009, 2011, 2015, 2016, 2017,2018, 2019, 2021. As you know the Haryana education Board Bhiwani takes teacher eligibility test every year. Last year HTET was held in 2021.  This year you can apply HTET application form in May 2023. HTET 2023 exam online application form

First of all, this date is announced by the education board Haryana. According to board three-year future plan, HTET 2023 will be held in November month. probably HTET 222 will also be held will be held in June or November month. This is good news for those candidates who want to be a teacher in Haryana state. HTET is compulsory in Haryana to be selected as a teacher. PRT, TGT, PGT all three types of posts filled by those candidates who passed the HTET exam. Earlier HTET was known as State teacher eligibility test (STET). The validity of Haryana TET certificate is life time from the date of issue of HTET certificate.

HTET 2023 eligibility

There are Three levels of HTET 2023 and the qualification is given below level wise:

Level PRT/TGT/PGT Qualification
Level 1: This is only for those candidates who want to be a primary teacher (PRT / JBT / elementary teacher). A primary teacher in Haryana teaches a class from 1st to 5th. The aspirant must have passed the 12th class with a minimum passing mark of 50% & The candidates who shall be appearing in the final year or completed diploma course of D.ed /JBT/ equivalent are eligible for this exam.
Level 2: This is only for those candidates who want to be Trained Graduate teacher (TGT / Master/middle teacher). Upper Primary teacher in Haryana teaches class from 6th to 8th and in some schools 6th to 10th class. Graduate with a minimum 55% degree or passed/appearing in the final year of Diploma course/Bachelor’s course of 4 years/B.Ed./ 4-year B.A./B.Sc.
Level 3: This is only for those candidates who want to be Post Graduate Teacher (PGT / Lecturer) Post Graduate Teacher in Haryana teaches a class from 9th to 12th. Postgraduate with a minimum 55% degree or passed/appearing in the final year of Diploma course/MA/ M.Com/M.SC/equivalent.

How to apply online for HTET 2023 exam

All the candidates who want to be a teacher in Haryana must have HTET. The only online application form is considered for Haryana teacher eligibility test. The offline application will be rejected by the board. Steps to apply online application form for HTET 2023

  • Thumb impression with a live photo taken in the examination hall in a laptop with the experts hired by the board. Left thumb impression is taken for male candidates and Right thumb impression is taken for female candidates. On OMR sheet thumb impression is taken by invigilator by special ink sent by the board in a circular pad. As a conclusion is that you will have to work hard to crack the HTET 2023 exam.

Apply Online HTET 

Level 1: This is only for those candidates who want to be primary teacher (PRT / JBT / elementary teacher). Primary teacher in Haryana teaches a class from 1st to 5th.

Qualification for Lower Primary Teachers:

The aspirant must have passed the 12th class with a minimum passing mark of 50%.

The candidates who shall be appearing in the final year or completed diploma course of D.ed /JBT/ equivalent are eligible for this exam.

Level 2: This is only for that candidate who wants to be Trained Graduate teacher (TGT / Master/middle teacher). A primary teacher in Haryana teaches class from 6th to 8th and in some schools 6th to 10th class.

Qualification for Upper Primary Teachers: (TGT-Trained Graduate Teacher)

Graduate with a minimum 55% degree or passed/appearing in the final year of Diploma course/Bachelor’s course of 4 years/B.Ed./ 4-year B.A./B.Sc.

Level 3: This is only for that candidate who wants to be Post Graduate Teacher (PGT / Lecturer ).Post Graduate Teacher in Haryana teaches the class from 9th to 12th.

Qualification for PGT Lecturer (Post Graduate Teachers):

Postgraduate with a minimum 55% degree or passed/appearing in the final year of Diploma course/MA/ M.Com/M.SC/equivalent. 

HTET 2017 form will be submitted through online mode only. Government is going to open the online HTET application form very soon. According to board announcement, HTET 2023 exam should be held in November month. Students have to be applied in the given time frame. After the last date of applying HTET application form 2023, no request will be entertained. Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test managed by board and exam centres all over the state. Very tight security is done by Haryana Govt. during teacher eligibility exam all over the state and in all exam centres. Normally HTET answer key published online after 2 weeks and HTET result declared after 2 months after the exam held.

HTET 2023 Admit card

HTET is organized by BSEH. After one month of applying the application form admit card uploaded on HTET official website. Link to download HTET admit card is given below. To get admit card fill the registration number and password and take a print out of Admit card. If you forgot the registration number click on forgot registration number. Admit card will not be sent by post. On every Admit card instructions are given. Read the instructions carefully and follow them strictly otherwise you will be disqualified.

HTET certificate validity

According to the new letter, HTET validity is a lifetime from the date of issue. HTET certificate is issued by the board to all qualified candidates. The validity period of HTET certificate is all life from the date of issue. Marks obtained are given on HTET certificate. Previously it was known as STET (State Teacher Eligibility Test). 

Haryana TET Result

HTET result is announced after 1 month of exam. The result is not sent by post to candidates. See your result online on official website haryana.indiaresults.com. Enter the roll number and see the result. HTET certificate dispatched to qualified candidate’s address. To get your results on SMS type TG1 <Rollno> & send to 5676750

HTET 2023 exam date important information

Candidates are advised to reach at HTET exam centre at least before 2 hours 10 minutes. All the candidates are checked by a metal detector. Aadhar based bio-metric identification done by fingerprint matching. Entry will be closed 60 minutes before the examination. Only black/blue ball pen is allowed for OMR sheet. Admit card, confirmation page, Aadhar card and one other identity proof is compulsory to take entry in the examination centre. Ornaments, camera, watch, calculator, mobile phone, health band, any electronic item, blank or printed paper, pencil box etc are not allowed at the examination centre.

A writer is allowed to differently able candidates on the base of the medical certificate. 50 minutes extra time will be given to differently-abled candidates (unable to write with their own hands, including blind Candidates). There will be Objective Type Questions in this Test. 150 Questions will be asked in this exam, each question carries 1 mark. 2:30 hours will be given to all applicants for this examination. There is no negative marking in this HTET examination.
